Update: SAT. 11/25/2023 my post keeps getting reported I guess the truth hurts right LJ/Archway? I'm still waiting on my unemployment money give me what you owe me… All I ask is Archway make things right with me because at the end of the day I was attacked and wrongfully fired and to add insult to injury I was denied unemployment jeopardizing my livelihood. Cause more trauma and more mental health issues PTSD and mistrusts in yt people. I WILL NOT BE SILENCED🤐 I was recently an employee and I wish I could say my time at Archway was a positive experience but…It was not!! I had the unfortunate luck of experiencing every ism's in the text book of toxic work place abuse and mob bullying. When I reported to cooperate how abusive my manager LJ was towards me and how she was triggering unhealthy stress levels of work place…
Month: November 2023
I'm pretty sure very job I've had I get severly burnt out from the expectations, from the triggers (cptsd), from socialising all day (social anxiety), from overstimulation of senses and constant readiness. Life is just not fullfilling and is a constant struggle to keep going as I can't see how life is worth sacrifing my mental and physical wellbeing in a job I hate for money to keep alive. I'm currently a ta in school as I have worked with kids before and I enjoyed it but I'm finding it absolutely takes all energy from me and I cannot give as much as I'd want. Its a shame as I really do have fun teaching kids but it's all too much. I'm defeated every day and two days off is not enough. I try do nice things but my body and mind are so tired I just want to rot…
I hate living in my area
The jobs available only allow you to live paycheck to paycheck, and the labor is always grueling. Some say move to the bigger city, but when I try it, I find better paying jobs, only to get robbed of my income by the higher cost of living.
Anyone else noticed that the media narrative around work from home seems to be suggesting that overall Gen Z and Boomers prefer to be in the office whilst Millennials prefer to work from home. I've seen this narrative suggested by a number of articles now but I know how the media likes to create baseless narratives to further their agendas, so it could be a load of sh*t. Every single person I've personally spoken to about work has said they much prefer work from home. That includes Gen Z, Millennials and Boomers. What are your feelings towards work from home now that the dust is settling on the pandemic?
My job is going to fire me. It's my fault. I was on an assignment, I lolly gagged for almost an hour ( I have been doing this a lot). I can take punishment for that. I am okay with that. But I had stopped caring about my job along time ago- hard work didn't seem to matter , people ( favorites) are usually in the office on the desk rather than running assignments. Hard work didn't matter and I didn't see the point in it anymore. Im just pissed that I wasted my time here.
I applied for a job at a framing company. The guy that interviewed me said they were a union company. I would have to travel to a city an hour away three days in a row next week. ( That's six hours of driving). I would have to take two separate drug tests. Between the union fees, and tools I would have to purchase it would cost me about 400 dollars. Also every three months I would have to travel to this city five days out of the week for classes. I would have to get a hotel room ( which would probably cost upwards of 500 dollars) , or drive two hours round trip each day. Of course I learned most of this a week after my interview. Originally I was told I would have to travel to this city once to get started, and I could take the…

I seek revenge
Hey all, In the last three months, I have been searching for jobs. However, employers have been wasting my time by not getting back to me when they said they would and completely ignoring all my emails. I don't mind not receiving feedback when I haven't even been called for an interview; but when I am interviewed and told will hear from people then I don't, which has extraordinarily happened everyday, I feel like a non-human. The most annoying part is all these companies wax-poetic about “mental health week” or “our values” on Linkedin incessantly, projecting this hip image of themselves. But they could not care less, which makes it insufferable for me. So, now that I am teetering on the edge of quitting my job search, I'd like revenge. I want to make their lives difficult. One way was exposing them on linkedin and other social media platforms, including…
Hello guys, Almost a month ago, in November, I joined a new company and have been WFH since then. So far everything is good, is not the bestest job in the world, but my colleagues seem like nice people, the pay is quite OK, and it has good benefits. The company is a big multinational, but my team is rather small, with only 5 people. I guess details do not matter much. My team leader told me that there was a Christmas party onf the 1st of December and if I wanted to attend (at the city where the company is located, which is about 600 kilometers). I was a bit reticent at first, but as I do believe that it could have a positive impact in work relationships and I like getting to know the people I work with in person (even if it's once or twice a year),…
