I’m so stressed and frustrated. I don’t want to be homeless.

Yes. That’s why I work here. CAN YOU PUT ME ON THE FUCKING SCHEDULE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON?! If you’re not hiring, don’t hire. And ffs take down the “now hiring” sign, makes the place look like trash. And the online postings too.

I got a write-up for the first time ever in over ten years of being a worker bee in life because I looked something simple up on the company iPad after I had clocked out because the iPad was on my way out the door and I didn’t want to have to check it, go over the office and clock out, then leave. When my boss was asking me what I looked up, I told a joke, not thinking it was serious. I’ve never had anyone care when I’ve been like “lemme type this in before I leave”or when I’ve seen people bring out a trash bag on their way out the door so they don’t have to walk back into the building to clock out. Turns out, it was a big deal. Looking something up as I’m walking out the door + having my phone in my hand apparently…

I work in a grocery store in MA that pays full-time employees more than part-time employees. At least once a month, I’m scheduled for 40 hours, which to my understanding is considered full-time. Am I entitled to full-time pay for these weeks? If so, how do I go about this? Thank you. For the record the work we do is nearly identical, with the difference being the full-time workers are key holders (sometimes). Aside from that, we are doing the same thing.

Why is this perception of good so important for them?

Received news today that ther will probably be no work for me until the 2nd of January due to mo orders for our plastic molds. Welp, guess it's time to start looking into temp work for a month… yaaay.

I got fired like two weeks ago and my final paycheck is suppose to come today. My fear is they will hold it over my head because I haven't returned their laptop. It honestly just escaped my mind in my grief and loss of dignity and my job. I need that money to pay rent. I have NEVER missed a rent payment. I am already stressed about paying for shit and now it is 3 am and I am panicked about this. I keep re reading this letter and wondering if I am going to be getting my pay.
