The guy I'm talking about is extremely introverted and most of the “issues” are that he doesn't socialize enough, isn't proactive enough and doesn't show enough enthusiasm about work and the brand. Basically, he would have to change his entire personality in a manner of weeks which seems like a big ask that came out of nowhere. He worked at that place for 3 years and even got a promotion a year ago because he was doing good work. From what I understand, employers will usually put an employee on a PIP in hope that they will quit on their own. Is it possible for the employee to get unemployment after the plan's trial period even if he's not considered satisfactory? Or, will he be fired for being considered a “bad employee” and be ineligible for unemployment.? Thanks in advance

I got yelled at today
To keep things vague, I made a mistake. This woman (who is not even my supervisor nor coworker, yet is still a higher position) came to yell at me, only me, then proceeded to walk over to others, see them making the same mistake, and not even reprimanding them like she did to me. She pretended like she saw nothing wrong when she went to go check on them. She was very angry with me, and whenever she approaches me, it seems like she is always in a bad mood. However, with others, she speaks calmly. I have done nothing wrong to her, and I am sick of being humiliated but I'm afraid that if I were to stand up for myself, I'd make things worse. I just don't understand why she dislikes me so much as I generally keep to myself and don't talk much. This is the second…

Please help, I’m kind of freaking out, and I do not know what to do to rectify this situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My boss sat me down to say that they wanted to have an uncomfortable conversation. They explained that when they were auditing the time cards, they noticed discrepancies in my work product and the times I clocked in/out. They sent me time cards in an email and has requested I provide proof of work product. It’s a total of 45 hours…. we have one main platform, but we sometimes use email, other sites, etc. It’s an office job. I have so far proven over half of the time. However… One day, I worked normally for 6 hours. At night, I logged 6 hours until after midnight. – I was cooking dinner and immediately feel asleep… no proof On another day, I logged 3 hours at…
I have to bill every minute of my day to projects as I'm an environmental consultant. My boss will micromanage my time spent on the platform we use to the minute and ask me to re adjust time spent on that project. I'm expected to get project reporting done in 8 hours but I can often get them done quicker as I'm efficient, but obviously don't ask for more work as I would not get paid for that extra work. So my boss is seeing that I can get work done quicker and is asking me to adjust my timesheet accordingly. I will absolutely not accept more work without more pay. So if I get a report done in less than 8 hours, I just go do something else with my life (hybrid remote work). How do I get him off my ass? We have annual reviews coming up and…
Resignation Etiquette??
It is after hours at my job. We are off tomorrow and Friday for Thanksgiving and return to work on Monday. I have prepared my letter of resignation, but not ready to sent today or on Thanksgiving. No job lined up. Would it be appropriate to email my supervisor my letter on Friday/weekend?
Text between my boss and I.
Happy to be done!
I told them to fuck off you mother fucing cheapskates. I’m I in the right or stupid? *puts on dunce hat
