2024 will be a good year to gauge when the revolution will take place.

As a 24 year old in America, I know my fellow young Americans can feel the shift in perspective for society. Americans are becoming more accepting of socialist/communist politics. Something that deserves notation, considering red scare propaganda and despite the obvious views of boomers (and most of Gen X) who are notoriously anti-communist generations. I’m going to dive in a bit about why that is, Reganomics and red scare propaganda (Rocky 4, Rambo, Red dawn etc.) the capitalist American government made the USSR and communism their scapegoat for anything and everything bad in the world. This was necessary because after communists defeated the nazi regime they were on a hot streak(China revolution, USSR preparing to invade Japan etc.) communism was popping OFF! Who’s most threatened by communism? The ultra rich who exploit the working class! (AMERICA in a nutshell) naturally those in power of the USA started the Cold War.…

(AMERICA in a nutshell) naturally those in power of the USA started the Cold War. A phony war fabricating fear of communist ideologies by using these countries as playgrounds of death and destruction. (South Korea, South Vietnam, Cuba, etc.)

Without the intervention of Western capitalists putting a stop to Soviet unity, I often wonder what the world would look like today. A world built upon peace, love, and equality. The USSR shouldn’t of collapsed in 1991, the greatest tragedy of the 21st century was the victory of capitalism during and post Cold War. Our fathers, our mothers, our grandparents and great grandparents were victims and responsibility lies with them for the inequality young Americans face today.

I often say to those I know that previous American generations sold out future generations for the temporary benefit of financial prosperity. (look at the debt crisis, minimum wage, the cost of living, stagnant wages, the housing crisis, the 2008 and 2020 financial crashes)

I am a 24 year old American citizen. I’m always broke, i job hop like a MF because at the end of the day I’ll never make enough money to be stable.

Im always getting called lazy, a bum, a deadbeat. Worthless just because I don’t have capital. This fuels my depression, yet I KNOW I’m not the only one going through this.

I have hope comrades, I hope we come together and abolish poverty and inequality. I hope we can defeat the evil violent forces of capitalists without bloodshed. (Yeah right) I hope we can come together here in subreddits like r/antiwork r/latestagecapitalism and in America and around the globe.

The future of humanity rests upon the youths shoulders. We bare the responsibility of fixing this world and suffering the consequences of late stage capitalism. It’s getting to the point where I cannot afford food or water anymore, somethings gotta give comrades.
