A millennial working 2 full-time jobs sometimes only gets 3 hours of sleep — but she’s over halfway to saving $100,000

You can totally be saving money if you work 80 hours per week. You won’t even have time to spend it, or to enjoy it before a stress induced early death.

Work is having me create training materials on top of my workload?

Is it normal for a company to have you create in depth training recordings for your position? A bit of background. Our department trainer recently and unfortunately passed away. This morning I received a notification chat that I have been selected to create in depth recordings of my day to day job for training purposes. It sounds like a very sugar coated way of saying I am being asked to create training material for new hires even though my job title or description has nothing to do with training. They did not mention any incentive with taking on this new task. This would not be frustrating to me if my workload was sustainable, however I am doing the workload of two people and drowning in emails, tasks, etc. I feel like a total ass if I decline but I genuinely feel like I don’t have the time to spare or…

Write up with no explanation.

Ok guys I need your help. My boyfriend lives in California and works at a legal dispensary. He’s been written up for saying something to another employee. That is all the information he was given. They won’t tell him what he said or when it was. He is unable to fix any issue or make sure he doesn’t say it again because he doesn’t know what he said. They won’t give him any more information. Is this legal? Can you get written up and not told why? Thanks all. This is really upsetting because he loves his job and would never hurt someone intentionally.

Job won’t accept medical accommodations?

I got injured at this job a while back and reported it to my managers. After a few months, I still have symptoms and am receiving specialist treatment. I submitted a medical accommodations document signed by my doctor which was provided by the company, including a scanned document of my specialist physical therapy schedule. I indicated when the accommodations should start and end. They were very simple requests; no lifting no pushing for some time. The request disappeared, and I think they denied it. How do I approach this? (In U.S.)

What are some crazy things that you have said to your boss?

I have said some insane s*** to various bosses over the years. Some of them I have said while in the process of quitting, but I'm looking for stuff you said to your boss and kept your job. I was working in a rent to own company, and while I was in the middle of whatever task I was doing, my store manager came over and asked me to do something. I looked him dead in the eye and told him “you're not the boss of me” He responded with “oh, right, sorry” and then he walked away! I couldn't believe that that had worked! He didn't ask me to do anything else all day. The next day, I was in the middle of doing something, and he came over and asked me to do something else for him. I tried it again. “Oh, right, sorr–hey, wait a minute… I…
