I planned a trip to South Carolina for 3 days told my manager a month in advanced and got the approval. Now the way they used to do pto they gave it to us all upfront every year, they just got bought out and now apparently we gotta accrue it. But I asked multiple times if l'd get paid for these 3 days and I was told yes and that'd l'd just be in the negative for pto which I already am. I literally asked 5 times before taking the days off because I couldn't afford to not get paid those 3 days. Well now it's pay day and they are telling me they can't pay me anymore pto and that I have to accrue it until I'm in the positives. Is there anything that I could do? I put my two weeks in and my boss as done every possible to show he is bitter and salty. He is asking for more items to be completed by EOD and on urgent timelines on top of the already existing pile. On top of that he wants to me attend an event next week because he needs my help to record it. First, I agreed to this out of respect and wanting to leave on good terms but the past few days he has done everything possible to cut me off in conversations, not responding to me telling him that the deadlines are unrealistic and leaving me out of conversations and email threads regarding said event that later he could hold me accountable for. so my manager called me and told me to another manager wanted to speak to me at another store. stupidly i called her. she asked me to come to her store for a couple hours before going to mine. i did not expect her to ask me this at all, probably because she’s never asked me to work over there. so i told her yes. but i regret it and i want to change my mind what can i say that doesn’t make me look like a liar or a dickhead?

So last week we got an email confirming a pay rise because we are valued employees and the company appreciates all our hardwork. The issue with that pay increase is it is to the new minimum wage. To make it even worse we are moving to the minimum wage while previously being on the national living wage. So instead of a pay increase because of our hard work it's a pay increase to the minimum amount the government has set out from previously being on the better rate of pay. Do they really think we are stupid enough not to realise what they did. If that's not bad enough we get another email today confirming we have to return to the offices full time from June. I'm just done so now I'm on the job hunt, only positive is as long as I'm working the same hours I am now…
