A rant on recruiters…

I applied for an internal role for a well known food delivery company about a month ago, my friend that works there pushed my resume through and I was so thankful. About an hour later the recruiter emails me and tells me to disregard, there was a technical issue and I need to select new times. No problem, shit happens, so I selected new times. I got my confirmation and calendar invite the next day for a few days from then. The day before the interview, I'm asked to pick different time slots. Okay…. Did most of that while in the waiting room for the drug test & physical. Today I got a call (14:01) saying I had missed something. I apologize, ask if it was sent yesterday or today (she says yesterday), and I promise to get right on that as soon as we're off the phone. Went to look at the email… Sitting in my inbox, timestamp of 14:01 today, there's the missing thing. 🤬 Like I couldn't compare timestamps between the email & the phone call. (Plus, I know I checked email later yesterday evening & moved all the work related things to my jobs folder. And…
