My manager keeps asking me to train them
Recently my mgr became my mgr bc of restructuring. I accepted it , bc I have no choice. I adapted. I had to train on her on a few things but it was masked as showing what tasks I complete in a day. Clocked it. I was due for a promotion once we brought on a new person on my team of 1.. the new girl comes. Yes I got I the promotion, but it was remixed. That’s another topic. So, My mgr tries to train her , some things were correct , but many were not. How can you train s1 on my division if you’ve only watched me for a week and I gave a mini sprinkle of a training. Management sucks.
I went on short term disability mid March of this year. Luckily, I'm still on disability. My manager was aware before I took leave of my mental and physical illness (the cause of my disability leave). I work(ed) in a call center. So it's been 4 months now and I haven't heard a word from anyone. Coworkers don't ask about me, my manager hasn't reached out to me asking how I'm doing. I don't plan on going back to work there. Just going to use the rest of my time and find somewhere else to work. For a team that touted how we were like family and everyone loves each other I feel like I don't matter as much because my numbers suffered while I was working due to said disability. So I started a new job in September, I told them about the plans I had already made to travel. This new job only offers 10 days PTO whereas my old job offered 24. At this new job they have comp time and sick pay, so they told me I could gain comp time and use it to be able to go on my vacations. Anyways, I worked lots of events and got around 5 days of comp time! One of the policies is that we can use our comp time before anything, before sick time, before vacation time, anything. So when I was submitting my time sheets, I made sure to do that. boss severely cut my hours
when i was originally hired, i really liked my store owner. paid me fairly, gave me good hours, gave me the days off i needed for college, gives us an extra $30 on each paycheck to help pay our phone bills, we have similar interests in music and audio engineering and we would talk after hours all the time. i’ve been there for 3 years and i’ve gotten 2 raises that, combined, gave me $2 on top of what i was originally making. he announced that the store was not performing as well as last year and that our hours would be cut as a result. i was thinking maybe 3-5 hours cut between all of us. my hours were cut from 35 a week to 30 to 27 all the way down to 20. only me and 2 of my other coworkers hours have been cut, meanwhile the other…
