I'm planning on quitting when I get a new job lined up, I hate my boss, she is a nightmare. So, I want to get her one of those cards that never stop playing, fill it with glitter, and put my resignation notice in there. But where can I find these? I tried online but there all thank you and birthday cards, which I don't want. Is there one that plays that “you are an idiot ha ha ha ha ha” sound over and over again? Is there a site where I can design my own card? Thanks in advance

purely a vent post but I'm so angry that I've finally FINALLY got some time off work and I need to use that time jobseeking my current workplace (classic 9-5 corporate) is falling apart and doing huge redundancies so I'm trying to jump ship before it sinks completely so instead of idk relaxing and Being A Person I'm just back in the hellscape of CVs and cover letters while already being burnt out and managing my (undermedicated) depression back to work on monday and absolutely dreading it

I'm the general manager of a small store from a massive fast food company. I work 55-65 hours every week so I don't have much downtime at all. I work so much but I just barely have enough money to cover rent, and I can't afford the medication I should be taking daily. I don't have the time or money to go to school and find a decent job so I'm stuck here in an endless loop that makes me feel dangerously hopeless qnd sick every single day. All for a company who doesn't care about me, and only profits.

So I work at a call center and the normal hours I told them I could work were for 10am – 3pm (used to be 9:30 – 6:00 but after several mental breakdowns due to anxiety and other mental health issues I requested a change.) I have been told that because my QA did not “meet goals” in a three month period, of which I am still pending info on because my survey’s are all 100% customer satisfaction and have never been told that by a supervisor that my work was subpar. It sounds super sketch that suddenly this is a big issue that I only got informed of when convenient. So the punishment is that I have to work on labor day from 1:30 pm- 10:00 pm. They apparently can’t get anyone else to do it so I’m forced to. Does anyone know if ADA covers this or if…

So I have a government job, management hates me but had to offer me a promotion. I am going to tell them via email that I know they don't want me in the position. So if they give me my desired shift and days off I will turn it down. If not I will accept the position.
