30 minutes for lunch is not enough.

I started a new job recently (American company) and I have to clock out for lunch and it's for 30 mins and each lunch is scheduled. You can't take it earlier or later. 30 mins is not enough time to cook a meal so everything has to be prepped and definitely no time for a 20 min walk to clear the head. And because I have to clock back in, I feel like I can't fully switch off because I'm constantly keeping an eye on the clock. I miss hour long lunches that could be taken at any time. ETA: I do meal prep, I don't like it but I do. Truth be told it's the inability to get some fresh air that's really annoying me. This is so temporary for me, I'm working on transitioning careers and need a remote job that pays the bills while I'm in university. I'm surprised at the comments telling me that I should basically just grow up and be grateful for the lunch I do get. I thought this was the anti work sub
