She's worked at a community college for 25 years. Worked through breast cancer and sudden death of my dad. Her benefits should include FMLA, which she wanted to use until her surgery in January, because driving is very painful and she has to drive to get to work. Her bosses want her to resign, so they denied it since driving is not a listed requirement of her job. She can't afford to retire. She's crushed by all of this. I'm crushed by this. I can't describe how heartless the prez of the college is, but she knows all the b-school buzzwords so the board keeps giving her raises and bonuses. I hate it here.
