Had to call my boss to come relieve my from my shift tonight as I became violently ill shortly after arriving.
She decided to get pissed at me and complain about how she's soooo busy and taking on soooo much because we're short staffed (maybe if you paid more, we wouldn't be so short staffed…), meanwhile she just got back from her fourth vacation of the summer.
I also looked on some job boards and saw that similar jobs that are both closer to me and less demanding are starting at about $8/hr (significant) more than what I'm making.
Oh, and they shorted my paycheck by about $800, which when you live paycheck to paycheck isn't great. And this isn't the first time on that either.
I don't really give a fuck if I'm leaving them high and dry, maybe if they valued their staff and paid us a goddamn living wage this wouldn't be happening.
This is only the tip of the iceberg at this place.
