Hello, I am a server who recently got a new job and moved from my old one. The old one was awful, and made me pay out of pocket for a dine and dasher. My manager told me to not let it happen again, and after talking to my mom about it she informed me it was illegal. I looked into it and it is indeed, but I can’t find out where to report the business for doing this. I tried doing the Better Business Bureau but had no luck. I am anxious about reporting as well since my former boss is also apart of the police force. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
