I worked for Sysco for 6 months. How hard is the job?
I would have to unload and deliver a loaded 28-foot trailer. 800+ cases of product, about 20,000 pounds GROSS weight. 20,000 pounds in 1 day. In all weather conditions. No supporting equipment, just me and a 2-wheeler
Disgusting. Literal body killer. I know 2 guys that had to get back surgery because they did it too long.
Meanwhile Sysco CEO sold 75,000 shares of Sysco stock earlier this year worth over 6 million dollars.
His boy Greg Bretrand(EVP) sold 50,000 shares
And they raised their dividend for share holders.
…but they can't give a contract that would satisfy their workers that are now on strike.
