Saw a similar post, wanted to share my story,I recently put in my 2 weeks, and my micromanager seemed fine with it. Next day, all but 1 of my tasks (~15 min/day) are no longer my responsibility, and my internet access is turned off. Managers both insist that i am online and available to do my 15 min.
I found a clause in our separation agreement stating that a manager may cease your employment, but the company will pay out the final 2 weeks of work days. So, in effect, ive been quiet fired
Edit: if anyone has good ways to pass the time in the office, please lmk. I brought a book 🤷️
