Butt hurt former hellscape

I left the worst job I’ve ever had – small start up. It was so bad that after some lady yelling at me in all caps via Teams message I was at my wits end. The week prior, they had me take a week off, which was paid. The contract I signed was no PTO until after 60 days. That’s all. Didn’t say work days, holidays, etc. just mentioned that if I took off during the first 60 days it wouldn’t be paid. Anyway I quit a week later because some of the bosses there would yell at my coworkers and witnessing it was an environment that was torture. So I quit without notice 1 week after my return. When I was off a day within my period, I wasn’t paid because I fell in the period. So now almost a month after quitting they are threatening to sue me…

Anyway I quit a week later because some of the bosses there would yell at my coworkers and witnessing it was an environment that was torture. So I quit without notice 1 week after my return.

When I was off a day within my period, I wasn’t paid because I fell in the period.

So now almost a month after quitting they are threatening to sue me for the week I was out due to Covid that was past 60 calendar days from my start date. And sent me an invoice to “avoid additional action.”

I’m not worried at all but if they only have 60 days in the contract and did not mention anything other than “60 days” am I covered?
