A rant about managerial hypocrisy

I had a meeting recently with my manager about 'poor attendance' cos I've had 8 days sick leave this year and dinged a 'wellbeing plan' meeting. Anyway so my boss was full of asinine advice, which included refuting my diagnoses of things ('well you don't seem like you have that, but what do I know?' *conceited titter*) all the way to telling me to make sure I get my full lunch break. And yet in reality? I start 15 mins early. I finish up to 30 mins late. I eat my food while I work. I am flat-out 100% busy from the moment I get in because I am doing the work of three people while they spend months hiring someone to replace the old colleague who left. And yet in reality? I start 15 mins early. I finish up to 30 mins late. I eat my food while I work. I am flat-out 100% busy from the moment I get in because I am doing the work of three people while they spend months hiring someone to replace the old colleague who left.

And yet my boss, during normal work hours where she's not required to care about my wellbeing?

'Have you started/finished this yet?'

'Have you looked at this/that yet?'

'What are you doing right now?'

'How are you getting on?'

And other irritating commentary that generally implies I am sitting on my ass watching YouTube when I should be working, when she sits opposite me, and gets more or less a running commentary on what I am actually up to.

Gahhhhh.
