Stood my ground against management

So today was an eventful day. I work two jobs, my second being part time at Walmart. All the money I make from that job goes to saving for future goals, but not to any of my bills. So suffice to say I don't necessarily need the job. I live in a at will to work state, due to this I've noticed management taking advantage of employees. I work in seasonal which means my area is the busiest for the rest of the year. That hasn't stopped management from forcing my very few coworkers I have (our area is the most understaffed) to work online orders department, which pays more. Well today they demanded I work that area. I was sent home early. No idea where this will end up, but it feels good to stand up for yourself against unethical situations.
