I have recently heard all about how the railway worker strikes were quashed in the U.S. Here in the U.K., I support the royal mail (postman) strikes. However in both countries, neither government is actually considering to resolve the matter with say a pay rise to match inflation and instead just making plans to quash future strikes or make the power of strikes redundant all together. Where is this going to leave these sector? The older workforce and no need blood coming in? I don't think that this is sustainable.
