I’ve always knows that we get shit time off but I decided to figure it out for myself, where I work I get a PTO accrual rate of .0385 so that means that for an entire year of 40 hours a week I get 10 days off….. Not 10 vacation days and then also sick days and personal days. I get 10 days an entire year where I can be sick or can take a vacation or just a long weekend. I don’t get holidays off (I at least get paid a little more) but I closed my store Christmas Eve at midnight (technically Christmas Day) and then I got to come back and open the store for Christmas Day morning.
