My husband recently lost his job after a suspension. We we told it was because they had reason to believe that “misplaced” merchandise was taken by him and he was let go. I pick him up from work everyday and we immediately come home and he gets Undressed and into casual clothes and I put his work clothes to wash. There’s never anything in his pockets or on his person, so I was quite confused when he was fired for stealing.
They have cameras so they must have looked but they refuse to say what he took or when. I’m not sure where to go from here. He’s looking for another job as we speak but I have so many questions and want to know if this is legit or if there’s something I could do to prove he didn’t do it. In my opinion I can’t believe they could let him go without even really telling him why.
They also forbade him from discussing it with former coworkers to “protect” his reputation but I can’t imagine they’d care about that. Any advice is appreciated and thank you.
