I had an amazing boss at a restaurant I worked at. If some area was getting behind he would jump in and help. If the dish pit was stacking up he would jump in. Free unlimited shift meals and so on. The icing on the cake was when ever someone gave there two week notice he would right a letter of recommendation that praised them and said it was unfortunate he had to let them go. He did this to make it easy for them to get unemployment. He would say I already pay unemployment insurance so It’s money I’ve already paid.
Best boss I’ve ever had. Still friends with him to this day.
