I originally was going to post this on the subreddit r/offmychest
But, decided here was better.
I use to do house cleaning for a decently sized company.
I was cleaning at this individuals house with about an hour left. I hear my phone ding and I look at it. They had sent me an email stating they were firing me.
At first I was just in shock but before I knew it I was crying pretty hard, to the point of hyperventilation.
Normally when I get fired I can take it well but, the fact that I was in a house with people whom I did not know and had to continue my job was all too much.
They did own up to the fact that they had made a mistake but that was only after I had called them. They somehow didn't know I was still at a job.
I have no real point of posting this besides venting. Sometimes big company's are nice and sometimes they suck ass. Never know what you got till your in it
Anyway, I hope y'all are being treated well within the workplace and I am wishing the best for all of you
