I think everyone here in an unstable/ precarious work situation should take a step back and consider some of the silver linings.

For me, as an adjunct professor, sure it's tough sometimes when there are no classes for me to teach for a semester But then I remember that with my faculty ID, I get 25% off at Goodwill every Tuesday. And that 25 cents I save on half used dish soap makes all the difference!
