My boss has been less and less present over the last few years. Doesn't return calls or texts; blows off meetings; and has gone from being on site 3-4 times a week to barely being able to manage to show up twice a month at the office.
Today took the cake. We had a zoom court hearing. I spoke with him this morning confirming the details and time. 3 pm rolls around and he doesn't log on. The only thing he had to do was confirm I was authorized to speak on behalf of the LLC. I stall, and explain my job to the judge. She finally decided I'm probably ok to proceed as the company representative. 30 minutes later, we're done and boss calls saying he was on another call; briefly apologizes; then says he has to go because another call is coming in. Freaking garbage excuse. He just told me exactly how important my role is for the company.
