New job. Don’t know anyone there very well. Management introduces performance targets. Some colleagues are only on 25 % of the new expected target. I’m a bit above and hopefully I will not be the first to get fired. But the new targets are unrealistic. We will pick the low hanging fruit and the more time consuming tasks will be done later. It will be difficult to keep up the numbers. Work environment might change. More competitive and less friendly.
I have autism and other diagnoses. I don’t know how to navigate in this. If I work hard for minimum wage I create an even worse future. I can’t really improve my performance much. Maybe management are clueless about the goals and I don’t think anybody can reach the goals. Management thinks there is 50% easy tasks and 50% time consuming tasks. In reality it’s more like 10% easy and 90% time consuming.
I have burnt out to many times. Stress. Anxiety. Now the spotlight is on our performance.
I have years of experience in this field of work. But I’m not good interacting with people. I don’t know if I can find another job.
Will I have to find another job?
