Every time I go in at least once, someone will say something bout my schedule. And it is starting to have the opposite effect they are wanting.
Because of health, both physical and mental and because I have a workaholic husband I am lucky enough to only need to work three five hour days out of the week. We could probably swing if I just flat out quit but I like to shop craft stuff.
Every time I go in I get comments like, “You are hardly ever here anyways.”, “You only work three days as it is.”, “My only complaint is that you don't work more.” And more comments like that. Some people I work with have two jobs and school and think everyone needs to work as much as they do. I couldn't handle that. And sometimes after a shift I am so depressed and stressed that I just lay on the couch for the rest of the day. I use to work four five hour shifts but I dropped a day because my depression and physical problems were getting worse.
I am thinking about going to HR but I know nothing good would come from it. I know they are pressuring me to work more because they are very very short staffed but I want to quit if the comments don't quit.
