I complained about sexual harassment, and I named a witness who I knew won't really confirm what he saw and I mentioned it to HR that he wouldn't.
HR conducted investigations, mentioned my name to the harasser (which already I told them not to) and concluded that it is unsubstantiated. I know politics was involved and HR confirmed that someone else has complained about this person before and HR knew about the complaint. Now what are my options? I know I told the truth and the witness lied. What do I do? What happens if I talk to a lawyer?
