So my work had put me on a performance improvement plan (PIP) in November. Admittedly I was a bit checked out because we had my entire team quit and other depts were quitting as well. I also had a death in the family. Morale was low for me. So I made a real effort to do better the past couple of months. I did everything that was asked of me and more, but yesterday they took me into HR and let me go, stating I just didn’t do enough. So yeah, I should have know they had made their decision weeks ago.
