So I work as a mover for a moving company. While the roads are safe to drive on now, the sidewalks and stairs of buildings still have ice on them. I called my employer telling them that I won't be coming in due to unsafe circumstances and if there wasnt ice on the sidewalks or if I had a job where we worked inside away from ice I wouldn't mind. My employer terminated me. He said come in or your fired. I said I won't be working in these unsafe work conditions since the possibility of me slipping on ice and hurting myself is there. He fired me within the next 10 minutes. Do I have a case or any rights of mine that been violated? I'm in Texas if that matters.
