Fast forward a month, and I’ve submitted two mileage reports. One of them was marked paid for this pay period, but I still have not been reimbursed for either. Does this fall under “wage theft,” and if not, assuming I get completely ignored by HR again, do I have any legal recourse to actually get reimbursed for the mileage I was promised? Is there a penalty for companies not reimbursing mileage on time?
