Delete if not allowed. I have a friend who works as a mortgage originator for a bank. She is set up on an incentive based pay structure where she gets a base salary plus incentive pay for originating and closing loans over her base production goal. Recently, the employer has capped the amount of applications she can originate per week which could potentially hinder her ability to exceed her goals and get her bonuses.
My question is, is this allowed? I doubt it is illegal but just thought I’d ask Reddit as Google isn’t turning up anything.
