So we have pvp piping that we take down and clean. If you don't take them down a certain way, it's impossible to put back up. My boss just started taking them apart, and I advised him not to do it that way because it will be ten times harder to get back together. What does he tell me? “Yeah, just tell me what to do.” Guys, he sounded like an upset teenager, but I guess his plan was to just put it together in his own way? He was being pissy and aggressive after that, so I told him he was being aggressive. It made me super uncomfortable, so I emailed hr and asked for a transfer, because this isn't the first instance of this and I just saw a storm coming and wanted to get out.
Sometime later, he changes his mind. Now it's my job to put the pvp back on. Putting pvp back together without taking it apart in the right peices is impossible. I said no, I'm not covering for your fuck up, but I said it way nicer. The owner comes in, and because I asked for a transfer, they fired me. Right there. Like, I wasn't angry up until then, I wasn't cussing or causing a scene. They tried to tell me I was being passive agressive, but honestly I was just doing my job. I have no idea how i was being passive agressive. It's all terrible and it's made me finally decide to leave the cannabis industry.
Edit: I re read the title, and I apologize for it being misleading a little. If I could change it I would, I was just trying to sum up everything quick. I don't want to be deceptive.
Also, it's pvc. I'm an idiot, but I refuse to change it.
