i live in new zealand and right now we're in a state of emergency. it literally says to stay home if you can and not go out, schools are closed.
thoasands are without power and lastnight a tree fell onto our power lines , however
this morning i tried to book an uber for an hour and there were no cars available – absolutely no suprise… even uber eats isn't available rn go figure?
i tell my boss this saying – “hi helen, sorry im not able to make it to work today as i cant be dropped off at the moment & theres no available ubers due to the weather”
and she literally says “id be happy for you to be late too, the worst has finished.”
- most people at my work get picked up and dropped off aswell so i thought id mention that wont be possible , she knows i uber to work and catch public transport home.
lmfao, i should also mention i made a serious complaint to her when i first started about a supervisor getting physical with me and just being difficult in general (this person has recieved multiple complaints) & she did not take it up to anyone else or make a formal complaint.. no action was taken whatsoever.
i sent the complaint about the supervisor in a text to her also and that exact text she sent to the team leader at work, who then showed it to my other colleagues.
this place is a f****** hole. so unprofessional
