Me letting two managers know they never contacted me to cancel work. Apparently i need to get over it

For context, my manager is in gray, another division manager is in blue. I was supposed to be working under Blue's supervision for two days and show up at 8am, but we had snow removal the night before. Well, i got to our shop at 8am and no one was there. I have gone out countless times after snow days and without a good night's rest because of it. There was less than half an inch on the ground with sunny skies the rest of the day, i have no idea what the job site looks like and was only told prior that we were putting down landscape rock. Somehow it was my responsibility to check in? This is getting really tiring: to deal with just bad/no communication from management teams.
