Found out my co-workers are making 55k+ more than me a year. Want to know what options I have as a new employee.

So as the title explains I have a base salary of say 95k a year, and I found out my co-workers are making upwards of 150k a year. Some context below for the post here as I’m looking for advice on what I could potentially do here, if anything. I’m also typing this out on Mobile, so please forgive any terrible formatting. I started this new job as of March 2nd working for a pretty massive corporation. They hire a lot of external contractors through hiring agencies, which is how I got brought into the mix. I applied for said job through “X” company and technically get paid by them, but work directly with their client who is the massive corporation. Part of my onboarding is to meet with other co-workers who are in the same position as myself, and of course we got to talking where I eventually asked…

Part of my onboarding is to meet with other co-workers who are in the same position as myself, and of course we got to talking where I eventually asked the question— “how much are you making for your yearly base salary?”

So a couple additional things to note: this massive corp. goes through multiple hiring agencies to hire the external contractors. the folks in my position I’ve found come from 1 of 3 hiring agencies that all contract out long term, full-time employees through their company. Both of these co-workers are with the other 2 companies, so it actually provided some insight and clarity to the fact that they were also hired by 2 different companies and both are making a similar amount more than me.

After speaking further about it with one of my co workers, it sounds like the company I work for specifically is on retainer with this massive corp, and so are able to pay less to hire employees which could explain the huge gap in salary. It’s also worth noting, that I’ve been referred to as “backfill” for an employee that recently left the company— not sure if that makes a difference though.

Last couple things/concerns I wanted to note: I just started working with these guys, and outside of finding out this news so early on in starting with them I do feel incredibly lucky to have found my way into where I’m at now. I obviously don’t want to raise any red flags too early on into my employment, but I do feel like this large of a gap is really concerning. It literally feels like I got screwed. Any advice any of y’all have would be seriously appreciated.
