So, a follow up from my first interview with them (https://www.reddit.com/r/antiwork/comments/120o6fr/unprofessional_interview/), I got an email asking for a second interview, which said it was going to be a camera interview.
I get on and there are three people, All with their camera off. I have had it now, I call them out. “I thought this was a camera interview?” The lady in charge said “well I am not presentable”. For me, I am thinking, you sent the meeting notice with the request that the camera be used, and here you are not presentable to turn your camera on? So I tell them “You realize that this is a two way interview, not only are you evaluating me to see if I am a good fit, but also I am evaluating you, if you don't want to turn your camera on, I really am not interested in proceeding with the interview.”
The other two gentleman turn their camera on, but the lady never turns her camera on.
I don't think I will accept the job offer stating that I don't trust their company culture where they inform me that I need to be camera ready, but yet they refuse to turn their camera on. (Yes the two others did, the one who was technical, did turn his camera on.) But the organizer of the meeting, never did turn her camera on.
Shady, if you ask me.
