It’s just so much money. I feel embarrassed going and giving whatever cash I have to the cashier and filling up a little at a time. 20 bucks used to get me almost half a tank, now it’s only like 1/4 tank or less. Doesn’t help that my shitbox car is a gas guzzler. I work 2 jobs and have twice the commute. There’s no reliable public transportation in my city either. “Just by an E vehicle”. Right I can barely afford repairs on my 22 year old car as it is. Maybe if I cut down on the Starbucks I can afford to drive to work more!
