Fired because they thought I made a Reddit post?

I was just fired from my job. They accused me of making a Reddit post about my company. I denied knowing much about Reddit, because I had no idea what post they were talking about. Turns out it was another username’s account. I’ve just gone through and deleted any of my comments (mostly innocuous) I’ve made on that company’s sub because WTH. Manager said they connected the account to me. But I looked at that user’s content and can see there are a few things I have in common with them. Even though I asked for proof and denied it was me, they refused to show me. HR was there so I demanded to have this all in writing. They said I’ll get it eventually. Then HR escorted me out. Is it just because of the similarities that they think it was me? Can’t they subpoena Reddit and get the account user’s real info? This all seems so bizarre!

What recourse do I have? Wrongful termination? Do I contact an employment lawyer? Where do you find one? I’m so pissed off. All my benefits end after today.
