so i’m a bartender and I got to work at 3:02 the other day and my manager wasn’t there. cool, fine, I assumed she was at the main complex across the parking because that’s something managers do everyday to get supplies before we open at 4. suddenly it was 3:40 and she still wasn’t there and I don’t have this particular managers number so I texted someone else to let them know (I would’ve texted earlier but this had just happened 2 days prior with a different manager so I made a bad assumption that it was the same deal). basically she wasn’t coming in and no one knew but my other manager put my time for 3:40 (the time that I messaged her) and said she wasn’t sure if they wanted her to put it for when I actually got there. i’m gonna ask about it to see if it was changed to when I actually got there, but if i’m shown on the cameras being there at 3:02 and not able to get in because my manager failed to be there aren’t they required to put my time in for when I got there? it’s not like I left or was fucking around, I literally just sat in the lobby waiting. it’s not that I care about the money either, I make $2 lmao, it’s just the principle
