Dad is dying, and I’m unsure what to do regarding my job

I like my job for the most part. I work factory, doing in-plant conveyance (logistics). Dad is in the hospital under comfort care (basically, life-saving measures are no longer in play). My leader (who is a genuinely good friend and was even prior to taking the promotion) is ensuring I have leave taken care of for this. I already told him I may leave after this is over. I don't know what I'll do for work, but Tennessee is a bad state for me currently. I also am struggling with grief pretty heavily. I know my leader and co-workers on my team would understand, but I'm admittedly a little scared going forward. I honestly don't know whether to try and return after this is over. I doubt I'll find another job with people who do their best to ensure I'm taken care of. I just do not know if I…
