My husband started a new job (his first professional one in his field) in January. It has NOT been a good situation for his mental health as he has anxiety and this job has made it so much worse (unrealistic work loads, terrible communication from superiors, getting thrown under the bus for things not his fault, etc) his therapist recommended he start medication, which he has. We're in the process of applying for new jobs and we're fairly certain one he has interviewed for (just finished the second interview) is going to offer him a position.
Here's where we need help. Once he has an offer (from this place or wherever else), what's the best way to give a 2 Weeks Notice? And any suggestions to help reduce anxiety when giving that notice? We have no idea how his immediate boss will respond. There's a chance they'll be super passive aggressive his last two weeks, there's a chance they'll want to sit down and ask why he's leaving (which he would absolutely hate doing), there's a chance they won't even care. We have no idea how they'll respond. We're also not sure how to word the notice? I suppose we could just look for templates online. But any help we could get here would be appreciated!
