I’ll start w this: I work as a part time dishwasher for a mom and pops Italian restaurant 35 mins drive away from me. I also receive disability so I HAVE to make only a certain dollar amount before taxes as well. I don’t drive (yet) and only because I want nothing to do with driving my parents around so that they can take advantage of me too.
The last 3 weeks I’ve been over scheduled bc they “need the help”. We’ve had like 3/4 turnovers in the last 3 months bc my kitchen manager is an asshole at times, and to top it off, these mfs had the AUDACITY to tell everyone our checks would be late bc they’re switching banks and NEVER DID. They even threw a sympathy party for me bc I pay damn near 60$ a shift to go work there.
I told them I’d stay to train a replacement before I go myself, but should I even do that? I don’t wanna be in the middle of this chaos much longer.
