My boss just fired 3 people for “slandering” her

This has been an ongoing problem at my place of work. I’d be long gone by now if I had something else lined up. For reference, I work in a cubicle office setting that deals with home and health insurance. We have our cubicles and other rooms that have coffee and hangout spots and such. The boss is basically fresh out of high school and has no clue what she’s doing. So naturally, people are going to dislike her and say she’s not professional. We regularly get nasty messages in our work email chain from her that she sends to everyone telling us to “stay out of drama” and sending really mean reminders about silly rules such as not hanging out with co workers (she made that rule). A few days ago an argument broke out between a couple people in the cubicles over something and the boss stood there…

A few days ago an argument broke out between a couple people in the cubicles over something and the boss stood there and did absolutely nothing about it. So people whispered about how unprofessional she was for not handling the situation as she should because she’s the boss. We recently found out that not only does she watch our every move, but every room is tapped so she can go back and hear us talking badly about her. She fired 3 people over it the other day via email. We got a nasty message in the group email chain saying she won’t tolerate “slander” and if we hear it we HAVE to take it to HR, or we can leave. I’m just about ready to walk out at this point.
