I am not optimistic that this will help, but I'm just so frustrated with employers. I'm very angry at the moment because I just received an email from my manager stating they have no extra hours to give…but if you see my email to the CEO I explain how many wasted hours they have and that they're distributing them contrary to their own rules. I admit I am partially to blame for not realizing that when I said I would cover the opposite shifts of the full-time 3rd shift that my hours would go from 12 a night to 8-10. It wasn't something I thought I needed to ask as 3rd shift is always a 12-hr shift. It all just seems so hopeless.
Added info: all shifts are actually .5 hrs less because of an unpaid lunch, even 3rd shift where there is only 1 phlebotomist on duty who can't leave the hospital during their break.
