Return to the office…for coloring books.

Company has been pushing down messaging through managers to teams for months now, more and more agressive in enforcing it. The last meeting on it they were really pushing people to get babysitters where needed and solve any issues needed to make that happen. Like one employee that no longer owns a car is expected to get one to come to the office at least 3 days a week. Babysitting and cars are not cheap and with inflation, car prices, gas prices and wages where they are those are both a big deal to many people. Right around the last, most aggressive meeting on it they put out adult coloring books in all of our offices for staff to use. I told my wife about them and she just looked at me and said “THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE OFFICE?!?”
