So I’ve been working at this company for a year and two months now.
In talking with a co-worker who was hired a month or so before me I found out that I make at least 5$/hr less than him… and he can do 2/3rds of the work that I can do…
When I asked for this raise all I got was “you made X, y, z, gamma, zeta, theta, mistakes and you’re slow as fuck (not an actual quote).
I am actually faster than some employees that have been there far longer than I have at some tasks…
I laid out that I am underpaid and that I have contributed more value to the company than when I started and I’ve been here long enough to be rewarded for that…
All I got was “we’ll talk amongst ourselves and see what happens”.
Fuck off.
I’m going to have to get another job ASAP. Fuck this place.
I have a goddamn engineering degree and make 35k/yr…
And they think they can fuck me over like that…
