Manager lied about making previous pay rate after rehiring

So, I've worked at this starbucks for 5 years. Due to scheduling conflicts with school, I had to resign for 3 months. In the rehiring process, I made sure to ask my manager if I would be making my previous rate, as the offer letters I received had the starting wage listed (which is 2 dollars per hour less than I was making 3 months ago). She told me in writing (twice!!) that I would. So I get my first pay stub today, and I'm making the starting rate! I took a 2 dollar pay cut! I'm hoping that this is just a really dumb mistake and that it will be fixed with backpay… otherwise I am quitting on the spot. Any advice on how to approach this if there's more trouble? I'm planning on sending my manager a message in the morning… I just really hope this wasn't intentional
