Do you know what I realized after receiving an education?

Obligatory statement that I’m currently a medical assistant on the clinical side of a large hospital system. I received my bachelors degree in Health Science w/ minors in Public Health, Health Management, and Biological Sciences. Originally went Pre-Med at the beginning of my college career but changed paths 3 years in for Pre-PA instead. Graduated after 7 years last month. Average tuition per semester was 5-6k. 14 semesters at 5-6k = 70-84k tuition. Have roughly 10k in loans. Did some research about what jobs my bachelors degree could land me, or if I could get a pay raise. Negative on the jobs. The degree does nothing. Got denied a raise by the powers that be, cited “irrelevant to the position.” My bachelors degree that had me taking many health-related classes and management courses gets me nothing. My bachelors degree that had me taking many health-related classes and management courses gets me nothing.

I’m stuck making $31,000 a year with a bachelors degree until I get into PA school and pay another $80k for that.
