Well short story I had given my boss a 2 month notice because we are moving because my wife's brother suddenly passed away and her mom needs us closer. I agreed to train my replacement fast forward now I've done worked 30 days of my 60 day notice and my DM was there. My replacement was calling off which made me have to open to close and I messaged my GM Chat to try to get help but no one could. The DM didn't once offer any help at all just pointing all the things we was doing wrong mind you when I took this store over last year April they lost 40k this year I made them 20k. So I took him outside and said I cannot stay here till close my wife is sick and he says it's the lifestyle of a GM I said well its not my lifestyle anymore he says so your just gonna bail on me I got in his face and said no sir I actually gave you a 2 month notice which I'm only required to give a 2 week notice so no I'm not bailing I'm just not finishing out my last month. It was literally the best feeling ever. He made my replacement that was sick come into work even tho she was sick. Any of the Wendys that Schmidt family group owns stay away from. They do not care about employees and definitely don't care about the consumer.
